All Hallowed's Eve - 2009

Hey all - here are some pics from last weekend's Halloween extravangaza in Applewood 'hood. Kudos to everyone's inventive costumes; including parents and adults. See you all again next year!

This is the blog and official website of the Applewood Acres Community Association. The group was formed in 2009 to better represent the concerns of families who live in the small but vibrant Ottawa neighbourhood. Applewood Acres is located in the city's Alta Vista area, and takes its name from the fact that it is built on what was once an apple orchard for the Billings family whose farm land occupied much of the area before the 1940s.

This blog is intended as an online gathering place for residents and a clearing house for information related to life in the community.
